In the evening, consider watching a Russian ballet performance at the Mariinsky Theatre or Alexandrinsky Theatre.
Take a short trip outside the city to the Peterhof Palace, often called the “Russian Versailles.” Marvel at its Grand Cascade fountains and beautiful gardens. Return to Saint Petersburg and visit the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood – known for its ornate mosaics and colorful domes. Enjoy your final night at a rooftop restaurant.
